Tallahassee is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Tallahassee follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I could write a book about James. You don’t find many places in the world nowadays that’s thorough and honest with you. James went WAY out of his way to help me diagnose an issue with my bike after taking it to him for what i thought was just a simple tuning issue. That was a big factor, but i also had a sumping issue, and he literally shows you how much he cares about what he does. He wouldn’t let my bike leave until he had it like he wanted it, and you don’t find that hardly ever. I don’t care what anyone says, you can trust this man and his crew with your life if it depended on it. He may have a busy schedule , but it’s worth the wait. I know many of you have heard that throughout life, but i mean it. His attention to detail, even the smallest bolt or gasket, he’s on top of it.

Brought my new-to-me 13 year old Dyna Switchback in for a routine service and new tires. The owner, James, was awesome to work with from the initial phone call in, up to settling the bill at the very end. This is not the kind of customer service you will ever experience at any dealership. James and his crew have earned a loyal customer

Before I dropped my 2011 GSXR-1000 off, I tried many shops in the Florida panhandle and they were unable to find the issue after spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars. RideNow of Tallahassee recommended that I go to JCL Customz so called them and arranged a drop off. Throughout the process, the Owner personally worked on my bike. He advised me that I had a fuel pump issue which wasn’t the primary issue but definitely one of the major issues contributing to the poor performance of the motorcycle. He sourced a fuel pump and regulator/non serviceable filter. Partzilla ended up not sending all the parts ordered and he was very patient and determined to get it the issue resolved. I was able to fall back and trust that he would take care of me, which he did. Once he finally got all the necessary parts in he asked and recommended me to allow him to ride it for 100 miles. This ended up being the smartest decision because on the hundredth mile it left him stranded. He was still resilient and determined to find the issue and reassured me that when I get the bike back, it will be fixed. He shipped my ECU off to Moore Mafia, since it had recently been tuned by them, to confirm it wasn’t a

Great mechanics that still work on older Harleys. Labor rate lower than the dealer. The big thing that stood out was the honesty of the owner; that's a rare trait with mechanics, attorneys, and politicians. I highly recommend JCL Custom to anyone that is looking for work on their scoots.

The Shop got my 05 Harley right. Many shops in Tallahassee refuse to work on mature bikes but The Shop welcomes them. Honest prices. If the bar and shield overcharges remember our community is built on small business. Support small business and our neighbors. Thanks Zack James and The Shop team.
